Fort Collins

Snooze in the Fort, like a pea in the pod, a fit that simply makes our souls sigh. We love the community, the drive, collegiate ways, rivers that flow, beer that reciprocates, environmental leaders, and folks who love great food! A vision for years and a fruition come April 2010!

General Manager: The Daybreak Diva

Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve!  And then talk about working where your passion lies.  Meet Debra Ryan, the newest member of the Snooze Management family and will take over the Ft. Collins ship, scheduled to open this April. After a year of courting Deb to be Snooze’s head Egg, she has been training at both locations to prepare for her next adventure. Her experience, energy and passion for this business are just drops in the waterfall that exemplify her compatibility with our team.

Born and raised in Ft. Collins, Deb has been with Old Chicago predominately in her restaurant management career. Ironically, she was the GM when our 7th & CO GM Jonathan Waller, along with tenured server Daniel Velarde, were young server studs while attending CSU. We found Deb before we even knew of the location, but after their references, and the many others from the city, it was obvious that this person was something special.

Having spent the past 3 months living, eating, sleeping Snooze (literally, above Snooze Ballpark), there is no doubt that this woman has what it takes to create the Raving Guests we seek in our Breakfast experience. We welcomed Deb to the family with open arms and are beyond appreciative to have found such a perfect match to our style and movement on community and creativity. Our synergy with our newest venture, our commitment to a great breakfast experience and to the woman who will run the A.M. party could not feel any better.

Executive Chef: Tyson Holzheimer

Always finding himself cooking or eating, Tyson's strong interest took root in early childhood.  Hailing from the meat and potato prairies of Montana, Tyson grew up hunting and fishing with his family, inevitably forced to use his creativity and disregard for the norm to transform good ‘ol country food into something extraordinary.  Tyson’s love for the outdoors eventually led him to the wild Alaskan tundra where he first set foot in a professional kitchen. Like fish to water, Tyson immediately fell in love with fresh anything, fast-paced work, and kitchen craziness.  Eventually, Colorado welcomed Tyson with its rugged wilderness and growing food culture.  Creating perfect pancakes and golden brown hash browns at Snooze easily became and remains his new found passion.
